ELGIN, Ill., Aug. 28, 2008 -- John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. today announced operating results for its fiscal 2008 fourth quarter and year ended June 26, 2008. Net income for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2008 was $2.7 million, or $0.25 per share diluted, compared to a net loss of $3.8 million, or $0.36 per share diluted, for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2007.

Friday, August 29 • The McCool Community Club will sponsor a spaghetti feed on Aug. 29, from 4:30-8 p.m., at the school cafeteria. Spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, desserts and drinks will be served. Kids who are school age will be admitted for $3 apiece. There will be a freewill offering for adults.
