The Westport Weston Health District (WWHD) is conducting a flu clinic for those 3 years old and older who have been vaccinated in previous years. The clinic is set for this Saturday, Dec. 6, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the health district office, 180 Bayberry Lane, Westport.

Smartphone sales slowest on record

Global smartphone sales are growing at the slowest rate since records began according to Gartner. Sales grew 11.5 per cent in the third quarter of 2008 the analyst house reports, and ads that it expects growth to carry on slowing. Overall 36.5 million phones were shipped in the quarter.

The PACE model was developed to address the needs of long-term care clients, providers, and payers. For most participants, the comprehensive service package permits them to continue living at home while receiving services rather than be institutionali zed.
